EBO is proud to welcome the the ESPN class of 2020’s top-ranked recruit in the nation, Jalen Green. Green will join EBO’s premiere U17 team that will compete in the Gold division of the Adidas Gauntlet series. At 6’6 170 lbs, Green is a dominant shooting guard at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno and is classified as a five-star recruit by ESPN. With a long skinny frame, Green has made a huge name for himself with electrifying dunks and elite 3-point shooting, which often draws comparisons to Kobe Bryant. Just a sophomore, he has already received offers from Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Cal, Cincinnati, Creighton, Fresno State, USC, Villanova, and Washington.
As a freshman, Green helped lead his high school team to a 26-7 record, the CMAC League championship and the section championship game. He started all 33 games and averaged 18.1 ppg., 9.0 rpg. and 3.2 apg. Green continued his dominance with a sophomore season where he averaged 28.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg, and 2.7 apg while shooting 52% from the field and 35% from 3. He was also a member of the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team that captured the gold medal with a perfect 5-0 record at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship and qualified the U.S. for the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup.
